  3. Its not 47% of Americans. At best, its 47% of the people that were polled in that particular poll, which most of the time consists of 1000 people. Secondly, those polls are polling likely voters, half the country doesnt vote. So at best its 47% of half the population. Thirdly, democrats have over performed the polls in the last 2-3 years, i have no reason to believe this trend wont continue. The realistic number is 30-40% of Americans have lost their minds, right about the same percentage (40%) who are uneducated. The numbers make sense. Moral of the story is get educated.
