@Plaw01 The Dissolution of Czechoslovakia took 6 month.
The Dissolution of Czechoslovakia on january 1 1993 was the peaceful self determined breakup of Czechoslovakia into the independent countries of Czechia and Slovakia
The Parliament passed the constitution act 542, passed on november 25, they agreed to the dissolution of Czechoslovakia on december 31 1992.
State assets were divided in a ratio of the Czech and Slovak population in Czechoslovakia, including the central bank, gold reserves stored in Prague, the tax system, the state broadcaster, army equipment, rail and airliner infrastructure.embassy property.
The old Czechoslovak currency, remained in use by both countries with the adoption of two national currencies and two national central banks.
On January 1, 1993, all Czechoslovak citizens automatically became citizens either of Czechia or Slovakia
Czechoslovakia's membership in the United Nations ceased upon the dissolution of the state, on January 19, 1993, Czechia and Slovakia were admitted as new, separate states.

''The natural resource base for renewable energy is extraordinary by European, and even global standards, with the most important potential sources being wind, hydro, and tide.''
At the start of 2019, Scotland had 11.0 gigawatts (GW) of installed renewable electricity capacity. Renewable electricity generation in Scotland was 26,708 GWh in 2018, making up 74% of gross electricity consumption.Scottish renewable generation makes up approximately 25% of total UK renewable generation. @scottwarren9867 Scotland removes 27 borders imposed on us and put up 1.
Westminster deals with a 28th border to the 27 other borders they'v put up on themself.
Customs duty, excise duty are taxes on cross border goods collected by customs as government revenue. ie for our nhs, new scots pensions etc.
we'l have a veto in the EU, dont have a veto within the UK.
We'l get to keep 100% of our tax revenue, dont even get back 100% of our taxes within the UK.
Culturally closer? Bojo the clowns anti scots poem he had published, Quote

Scotland gets a block grant from westminster which they cannot overspend on. We raise approximately £70bn in tax - we get around half back to spend in Scotland’s Parliament. for example the 2019/20 Scottish government budget is £42.5Bn, look it up. we subsidise ukgov to the amount of £27.5Bn this year alone which Westminster spend 'on our behalf' and overspend by the value of our deficit. The first challenge we have with Independence is to spend the remainder wisely, Brexit we rejected, Unelected House of Lords, trident, illegal wars etc etc etc. I think we can do better. Thereafter, only with the powers of independence will have the levers to deal properly with our own economy - opportunities
!
https://macalbasite.wordpress.com/2019/11/15/the-indisputable-thievery-of-the-uk-union/?fbclid=IwAR3SY4tokiuOIkF98UPWEB8wt71RLavQxbiQEB-WF5wH1Jkh0MoWk819huI
in contrast, Scotland contribution to the EU is £455 million (based on a four year average). This represents roughly 0.6% of total expenditure https://digitalpublications.parliament.scot/ResearchBriefings/Report/2018/9/28/European-Union-funding-in-Scotland
'uk' 'union' costs Scotland 58 percent, Scotlands eu contribution 0.6percent We'l have an inheritance of around 27.5 billion a year , of our own tax revenue, 'uk'gov currently take and spend on our 'behalf'.
With independence, Scottish government budget will jump from 42.5 billion to around 70 billion.

Scotland-Northern Ireland Pipeline, The pipeline was completed in 1996 this provides more than half of the power needs of the 600,000 customers. half the population in Northern Ireland from Moffat Scotland to Larne in Northern Ireland.
Rep of Ireland state company Gas Networks Ireland has just completed a second interconnector between Moffat Scotland, to Gormanstown and loughshinny, Rep of Ireland.Completing the twinning of two interconnectors between Scotland and Ireland.
Natural gas supplies around one third of Ireland’s energy needs, and is generates around 50 per cent of the electricity used there.
It supplied 90 per cent of electricity in summer 2018
the technical capacity of the fully twinned gas interconnectors between Scotland and Ireland has increased from 31 million standard cubic meter per day to 35 million
The EU contributed €33.7 million to the overall cost as deemed the pipe to be a “project of common interest”,

'''The main criticism to civic nationalism comes from ethnic nationalism, which considers that the first was invented solely to act against the latter'''
Your wrong on tantrum 2 , 3 , 4 .
Following Scottish devolution in 1999, Health and social care policy and funding became devolved to the Scottish Parliament.
There is no waiting line to join eu.
The Solway–Tweed line was legally established in 1237 by the Treaty of York between England and Scotland] It remains the border today,
Following the Treaty of Union 1706, ratified by the Acts of Union 1707, which united Scotland with England and Wales to form the Kingdom of Great Britain, the Border forms the boundary of the two legal systems as the treaty between Scotland and England guaranteed the continued separation of English law and Scots law.
EU can't set economic , defence and foriegn policies
''give up all control of you're borders'' Why didnt you say you hate fom and immigration in the previous 312years? Poor things Scots marauding doon sooth doing trade and vice versa. How demeaning and beneath you! Rather gastly! 😂
Article 4 of the Treaty of our own Union gave the subjects of Great Britain Freedom of trade and Movement within the kingdom and "the Dominions and Plantations thereunto belonging", meaning what were then the English overseas possessions.
''' probably you're education system too.'''
Free Tuition – Students in England face tuition fees up to £27,750 – Scottish students receive university tuition free.
Yes i know look at rape cases in England under English law jurisdiction no cases like that in Scotland.
There is a famous pub in centre of Paris called The Auld Alliance! search the name
Actual Scotland or our gov have never been allowed to be represented in the eu as ukgov is the member gov. We're held back. Wales and Northern Ireland too.
British comes from Britannia - A conquered province the Romans named. Caledonia was the name given by the Romans to the land north of their province of Britannia, beyond the frontier of their empire, that they could not conquer.

'In 2018, Scottish GDP per person is estimated at £32,800 including a geographical share of oil and gas output and £29,800 excluding of oil and gas output. This compares to a UK figure of £31,900 (including oil and gas output)'
'Secondly, in 2018, the figures tell us that Scotland’s GDP was boosted by around £3,000 per person simply because of a geographic share oil and gas output being included in the Scottish figures.'
At a UK level that boost to the economic statistics is equivalent to around £300 per person.'

Read the McCrone report.
'' The document gave a highly favourable projection for the economy of an independent Scotland with a chronic surplus to a quite embarrassing degree and its currency would become the hardest in Europe with the exception of the Norwegian kroner. This led successive iterations of the British government to classify the McCrone report as "secret". This was so to avoid fuelling independence sentiment in Scotland.
Professor McCrone stated that Scotland's GDP would increase by around 20% if North Sea oil were counted as part of it.
In an interview for Holyrood Magazine on 19 May 2013, ex-Labour chancellor Denis Healey (who served in the Cabinet at the time the McCrone Report was submitted) stated: "I think we did underplay the value of the oil to the country because of the threat of [Scottish] nationalism... I think they [Westminster politicians] are concerned about Scotland taking the oil, I think they are worried stiff about it ''

@saxglend9439 You too.
Edinburgh is biggest financial centre in the ''british union'' outside London. Not Birmingham, Manchester,Liverpool,Yorkshire, Geordieland.
Scotland has just 8.4% of the UK population but lands at its ports over 60% of the total catch in the UK
Peterhead, the biggest white fish port in Europe, Fraserburgh, the biggest shellfish port in Europe
Scottish whiskey making up a quarter of all UK food and drink revenues. It is also one of the UK's overall top five manufacturing export earners
largest oil resources in the European Union – Scotland is the EU's largest petroleum producer,
net exporter of electricity, 30% of Englands is bought/imported/dependant on Scottish renewable electricity
In 2015, Scotland exported over 28.9 per cent of generation
Scotland has an estimated potential of 36.5 GW of wind and 7.5 GW of tidal power, 25% of the estimated total capacity for the European Union and up to 14 GW of wave power potential, 10% of EU capacity.
Scotland has 85% of the UK's hydro-electric energy resource
The Pentland Firth between Orkney and mainland Scotland has been described as the "Saudi Arabia of tidal power"
In 1989 in England & Wales the Torie UK government privatised the ten public regional water authorities through divestiture (sale of assets)
The ten privatised Regional Water Authorities were:
Anglian Water
Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water
North West Water
Northumbrian Water

Deficts dont matter as much , scotlands deficits will be wiped out instantly if we end the british union and wel inherit our 10% of the british union economy & sterling area and the assets , on top of our current domestic gdp of higher than eu countries Estonia , Latvia ,Lithuania, Slovenia and Croatia Combined.. Governor of bank of british union ''''Scottish Financial Sector Assets Worth North of a Trillion'''' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGpayte7KTE&feature=youtu.be

@mhffc Sure weeman? ...
I think they [Westminster politicians] are concerned about Scotland taking the oil, I think they are worried stiff about it ''
Oil and Gas Production Statistics 2017-18

@Jack-fs2im Scotland in the 'union' being robbed to the tune of 32thousand per head per year. £1.4Trillion in exports alone since 2000.
We contribute 3 times more in scottish exports alone. than we get back in the block grant.
Wastemonster Owe's Scotland £1 Trillion
We're making enough money in scottish exports alone to run Scotland twice over
https://macalbasite.wordpress.com/2019/10/21/scotland-the-hidden-bank-of-the-uk-union/
since the establishment of the Scottish Parliament in the year 2000, If Scotland were assigned its average Export Value (based on othe EU countires of the same size – somewhere between Denmark and Norway, as established on todays values), Scotland would have generated $1,479,000,000,000 (that’s 1.47 trillion) in export value. Based on an 8.2% share, Scotland’s figures show only and export value of $551,286,000,000 over the last 20 years. That’s a missing 20-year total of $927,000,000,000…
In other words, that a missing value of a Scottish Oil Wealth Fund in line with Norway’s current oil fund value. Now do you see where our oil fund has gone?
The numbers don’t lie. The Union costs Scotland billions every single year and has cost Scotland a trillion in the last 20 years.
Tory admits scotland isn't subsidised by england https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VOuSN2j5iU Can you name one? Heres three of Scotland to England ,
Subsidy number 1 : 117billion per annum of scotlands 192b gdp that the english government take and we get 75 back for our Limited parlie , our 192billion gdp is higher than 5 eu member nations combined , Estonia ,Latvia ,Lithuania,Slovenia and Croatia. *Equal to 5 Nations Wealth Leaving the uk treasury
* (excluding our oil)
governor of bank of ''british union'' ''Scottish Financial Sector Assets Worth North of a Trillion ' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGpayte7KTE
Subsidy number 2 : 70% of all tax in Scotland goes to the uk government in another country , ''Currently 32% of taxation collected in Scotland is in the form of taxes under the control of the Scottish parliament and 67% of all taxation collected in Scotland goes directly to the UK government in taxation that is a reserved matter of the UK parliament''
''over half of all taxes collected in Scotland remains under the direct control of the UK parliament which has remained a reserved matter to itself all powers over Corporation tax, National Insurance, Value-added tax (VAT), Capital gains tax, Inheritance tax, Aggregates Levy Insurance Premium Tax and Motoring taxes''
Subsidy number 3: 4.4% of scots gdp is taken and spent on defence by the uk government in another country meanwhile same uk government spends just 1.9% of englands gdp on defence = scots subbing wastemonsters pretendy superpower facade as defence is a reserved matter not devolved.
https://www.gov.scot/publications/government-expenditure-revenue-scotland-gers/pages/5/
Table 3.1: Total Expenditure: Scotland 2018-19
Defence £3.3Billion or 4.4%
Colony of Scotland 4.4% (taken by another countries government) Norway 1.7% Denmark 1.3% Netherlands 1.3% Finland 1.3% Sweden 1% Belgium 0.97% Ireland 0.3%
move royal navy back home along with wastemonsters trident wmd submarines that we host. Wastemonster can pay us Rent til they find a site in their own country. the rent is costed at £1billion per annum bagged and tagged. As the new scots navy will be taken over this territory which i want to join.
safe border and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Travel_Area Created in 1923 Independent Rep of Ireland , Isle of Mann , Channel Islands are members of it for example. as theres no trouble at ours + itl create jobs on this side and whats left of your side , jobs badly needed on both side of the border you might even concede.
Also force the british government to fullfill its end of the international peace agreement GFA. Practical too, ours is 96miles long and 6main roads, the british partition border in NI is 310miles long and 280+ crossings. Lets take it out of the whole island of Ireland (to potentially aviod a war because of your stupidity)
The Solway–Tweed line was legally established in 1237 by the Treaty of York between England and Scotland. It remains the border today, Following the Treaty of Union 1707, which united Scotland with England and Wales to form the Kingdom of Great Britain, the Border forms the boundary of the two legal systems as the treaty between Scotland and England guaranteed the continued separation of English law and Scots law.
Article 19 provided for the continuation of Scotland's separate legal system.

Not joining the euro. A New Currency for Scotland is agreed. They offered England a currency union last time. Not offering that this time. Starting our own currency with 10% of the wealth of the whole 'british union' economy & sterling area which is our share Out of the uk treasury.

can offer eu membership In Line With The Majority of Every council area in Scotland All voted for in the eu ref. Thanks for the gift.
Unlike the 'british imperial union'' the eu can't set Scotlands income tax , can't set Scotlands economic ,foreign, defence policies , can't impose Englands trident wmd subs on us to host , Can't impose a Torie government England wanted but Scotland rejected, can't steal Devolved powers voted for by 74% of voters in Scotland like the English government is doing. In the GERS link ,Scotlands EU contribution / transaction £303 Million or 0.4% , Scottish Exports to the eu countries £15 Billion per annum. https://www2.gov.scot/Topics/Statistics/Browse/Economy/Exports/ESSPublication
I think they [Westminster politicians] are concerned about Scotland taking the oil, I think they are worried stiff about it '
Oil and Gas Production Statistics 2017-18
https://www2.gov.scot/Topics/Statistics/Browse/Economy/oilgas1718
'In 2018, Scottish GDP per person is estimated at £32,800 including a geographical share of oil and gas output and £29,800 excluding of oil and gas output. This compares to a UK figure of £31,900 (including oil and gas output)'
'Secondly, in 2018, the figures tell us that Scotland’s GDP was boosted by around £3,000 per person simply because of a geographic share oil and gas output being included in the Scottish figures.'
At a UK level that boost to the economic statistics is equivalent to around £300 per person.'
Devolved powers are the Scottish parliaments and Reserved powers are at the 'uk' parliament as clearly set out in the Scotland act 1998 ,extended by Scotland act 2012 and 2016.

@Land-of-reason
The Union of the two parliaments in 1707 created Westminster and at that point, Scotland effectively became a colony and its revenue was counted towards the wider UK figure. In 1706, the nominal GDP of the UK was £71,000,000. In 1708, it increased to £87,000,000.That’s an increase of £16,000,000.That is 18.4% of the £87,000,000 1707 figure, and can by all intents and purposes be attributed to Scotland as her share.
In 2018, using the same source as for the above GDP (nominal), the UK figure was 2,177,724,000,000. 18.4% of that is 400,701,210,000
Norway $417,627,000,000

'uk' 'union' dosnt have a constitution. Id like our own Scottish constitution.
Scottish law system is separate as is English law system.
The first challenge we have with Independence is to spend the remainder wisely, Brexit Scotland Rejected , Torie English government Scotland rejected, Unelected House of Lords, trident, illegal wars etc etc etc. I think we can do better. Thereafter, only with the powers of independence will have the levers to deal properly with our own economy - opportunities
!
https://macalbasite.wordpress.com/2019/11/15/the-indisputable-thievery-of-the-uk-union/?fbclid=IwAR3SY4tokiuOIkF98UPWEB8wt71RLavQxbiQEB-WF5wH1Jkh0MoWk819huI
in contrast, Scotland contribution to the EU is £455 million (based on a four year average). This represents roughly 0.6% of total expenditure https://digitalpublications.parliament.scot/ResearchBriefings/Report/2018/9/28/European-Union-funding-in-Scotland
t
'uk' 'union' costs Scotland 58 percent, Scotlands eu contribution 0.6percent so we'l have an inheritance of around 27.5 billion a year , of our own tax revenue, currently taken by the English government.
With independence, Scottish government budget will jump from 42.5 billion to around 70 billion.

Scotland is poorer within the UK cause of failure of the UK.
Scotland hasnt seen job creation via its own central bank, treasury, currency issuing powers, stock exchange, foreign affairs, national defence force, state run international airline, west coast container port at derelict hunterston port in Ayrshire.
Independence = job creation, economic development
Staying ran by next door = kept poor, no job creation, no economic development like mentioned above.

The United Nations Charter placed the right of self-determination into the framework of international law.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights also guarantees peoples' right to change nationality; the UK is a signatory to both documents.
known as the Velvet Divorce,, The Dissolution of Czechoslovakia, took effect on 1 January 1993 and was the peaceful self-determined split of Czechoslovakia into the independent countries of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Constitution Act 541, settled the division of property between Czechia and Slovakia
National assets were divided in a ratio of two to one, the approximate ratio between the Czech and Slovak population in Czechoslovakia,
The Czechoslovak currency the koruna, remained in use by both countries.caused the adoption of two national currencies and two central banks. At the beginning, the currencies had an equal exchange rate.
Czechoslovakia's membership in the United Nations ceased upon the dissolution of the state, but on 19 January 1993, the Czech Republic and Slovakia were admitted as separate states.

@ricbrow8752 Scotland gets a block grant from wastemonster which they cannot overspend on. We raise approximately £70bn in tax - we get around half back to spend in Scotland’s Parliament. for example the 2019/20 Scottish government budget is £42.5Bn, look it up. So we subsidise ukgov to the guts of £27.5Bn this year alone which Westminster spend 'on our behalf' and overspend by the value of our deficit. The first challenge we have with Independence is to spend the remainder wisely, Unelected House of Lords, trident, illegal wars etc etc etc. I think we can do better. Thereafter, only with the powers of independence will have the levers to deal properly with our own economy - opportunities

That Subsidy from Scotland to 'uk'gov is 29.7% of our approx 70bn tax revenue
in contrast, Scotland makes an annual net contribution to the EU budget of £455 million (based on a four year average). This represents roughly 0.6% of total expenditure in 2017-18. 'uk' 'union' costs Scotland 29.7 percent. eu costs Scotland 0.6 percent
https://digitalpublications.parliament.scot/ResearchBriefings/Report/2018/9/28/European-Union-funding-in-Scotland
''over half of all taxes collected in Scotland remains under the direct control of the UK parliament which has remained a reserved matter to itself all powers over Corporation tax, National Insurance, Value-added tax, Capital gains tax, Inheritance tax, Aggregates Levy Insurance Premium Tax and Motoring taxes''
4.4% of scots gdp is taken and spent on defence by the uk government meanwhile same uk government spends just 1.9% of Englands gdp on defence = scots subbing wastemonsters pretendy superpower facade as defence is a reserved matter not devolved.
https://www.gov.scot/publications/government-expenditure-revenue-scotland-gers/pages/5/
Table 3.1: Total Expenditure: Scotland 2018-19
Defence £3.3Billion or 4.4%
Higher Spending by Percentage than England! who spend 1.9% and America! who spend 3.5%
'''there are currently no Royal Navy vessels patrolling Scottish waters'''
Scotland 4.4% (taken by another countries government) England 1.9% Norway 1.7% Denmark 1.3% Netherlands 1.3% Finland 1.3% Sweden 1% Belgium 0.97% Ireland 0.3%
move wastemonsters trident wmd submarines that we host and contribute to paying for. Wastemonster can pay Rent til they find a site in their own country.

@ricbrow8752 A new Scottish currency is agree'd
No country joining the eu has to adopt the euro. Croatia joined the eu in 2013, smaller populaton, economy, exports than Scotland & they use the kuna
Nine countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Sweden, and the United Kingdom) are EU members but do not use the euro. Before joining the eurozone, a state must spend two years in the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM II)

@vikingofengland Did the residents of England get to vote on the 60 plus Countries who previously got rid of the colonial english parliament? No.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_that_have_gained_independence_from_the_United_Kingdom
Ofcourse English Scots who are resident in Scotland can vote. We get two votes in Scottish elections. one for first past the post and one for proportional representation.
Aye the thieving dictatorship 85% one country uk is finished.
