It's not because he won by a lot but that he had an approval rating probably around 40% approval when he left last time, coming back from that and winning is remarkable.

That's about policy. In Australia still need a warrant to arrest someone, still need a warrant for a search warrant, exactly the same as USA, it's the US chooses not to and couldn't do it if it tried. Trump is trying but will fail, impossible to remove 10 million people or 3% of the population especially as many have been in the US for decades, some since being small children and they don't know any other country.
