Hey NZ isn't that far from Australia and you would be aware 3 places have had lockdowns with 1 case, Queensland, Western Australia and NZ. Australia as I thought you would be aware has states that run the show, the federal government is only involved in the rules for international entry.

That's a choice, Queensland is a state in Australia why we along with most states have no cases but NSW getting 400 per day now.

@khatpe2580 Everywhere has problems unfortunately, it's unpredictable what might happen next. Best of luck to you.

Shen Shen You are biased because you say that the Western Pacific WHO region is run by China, all the other countries just copy China. Could be and very likely actually we all work together on this issue, we all have the 14 days mandatory enforced usually hotel quarantine for arrivals. Nobody else does the test an entire city thing. China is however having problems now with Delta variant and they can't test the entirety of 20 cities at the same time so need to change policy one way or another. You are correct though if the world followed the Western Pacific WHO region policies we wouldn't have had the variants which is the problem now.

Look at China , Vietnam and New South Wales and it will make sense to you.

@TomBedlammusic Shouldn't be a competition and if it is then they can be rated fairly high as in one of the lowest deaths per million of any jurisdiction.

@hgbnkbggj2915 Check Queensland and Western Australia, yes maybe more difficult but borders can be shut to a large extent but impossible to stop all quarantine breeches.
