  1. Well at least Australia and New Zealand have open borders (but can shut at a moments notice) we can only travel between each other for now. I was hoping for Vietnam, Thailand , Singapore, Taiwan but they all have cases now and mainland China is out of the question I think because of our diplomatic issues, not health issues. That virus inc game is playing out even countries previously virus free as the ones I mentioned above getting problems, these new variants are terrible.

  2. It doesn't matter does it? Wouldn't Taiwan be like Australia and not let them in anyway? It's a long time before we are going to let Europeans in and to be honest with the Australian and Chinese diplomatic situation we might be cautious about opening to Taiwan at a different time to mainland China, who probably won't open to Australia any time soon because they don't like us at the moment. Australia needs 0 cases of community transmission for 28 days for any chance of open border and ironically currently the only large country to probably fit the criteria is mainland China.
