Up to the party room, a 15 minute vote and he's gone and replaced as PM.

The real question when it comes down to it at the next election , is the other party better or not?

@francisjtuk Then use a coin to decide maybe, heads one party , tails the other. I do think the Westminster system is good though because no one person has too much power unlike Presidents who are also heads of governments.

You're right he does have bumbling charm as you call it. Very non threatening and likeable. No idea how he compares to your other politicians though.

If you're over 50 or fat or something, it's a good idea to get the booster. The virus is still real. If you're younger and fit then it's not a big issue but probably still better off with it.

If done properly, very effective but lockdown lite not so much.

@dalecrocker3213 I am in Queensland Australia and the first jurisdiction to go from genuine Covid 0 to opening the border and letting it in. Yes covid 0 needs good contact tracing, a compliant public which requires good messaging from the leaders and enforced quarantine for entry an absolute must. I looked at the England and London was in "lockdown" yet there's 5 flights a day or whatever to New York and the quarantine was voluntary and even sticking to the stated rules you could go home to a house full of people and only you had to be quarantining, those living with you can do whatever. So if you're wealthy you could just leave the country if it went into lockdown and choose a fully open country or US state. The lockdown lite was for peasants only. During 2020 in your summer your numbers did get low enough to go to covid 0 but there was no will to do so and it came back as we know far worse. Anyway hopefully it's somewhat over and soon moves to being treated like the flu. Once Omicron is in not sure if possible to ever get rid of it, lockdowns other than China style won't work.

@dalecrocker3213 We still have Delta but vast majority is Omicron, about 90% in my state, not sure about other states but would be similar by now at a guess. Yes Omicron isn't as bad but the case numbers are massive and still could cause major problems with hospitals and has caused staffing problems already. So far not too bad but New South Wales is starting to struggle. There's no attempt or even suggestion of any major restrictions, just masks in shops is about it to slow it a little.
