How on Earth can the BBC destabilize China? Never knew a simple media organization that can't be viewed in China or at least heavily censored can cause anything.

Problem is Scottish people don't, they voted against it, great news though China must be going to offer HK the same opportunity for independence if they vote in favour of it.

You really don't get the point, I as an Australian can call my Prime Minister an idiot who's incapable of running a lemonade stand and I think Queensland should separate from Australia because Australian from other states are almost as bad as our Prime Minister. Now I don't subscribe to anything I just said but I can say all that publically and nothing will happen to me other than people would think I am an idiot. Do the equivalent in HK it's 20 years prison, probably with a lot of reeducation involved.

@fiontay9318 Your comment is amusing, China is as far as you can get from communism, more billionaires per unit of GDP than the US and 100 billionaire in parliament, the leadership of China makes the association of Wall Street and the US politicians seem ok.

Funny thing is that they do report on it, no need to go to CGTN to discover that there are problems in Israel and it's occupied territories.

Similar treatment is reserved for Xinjiang I guess.
