  1. Mostly rode the China wave. We are opposite to USA , China is our biggest export market (iron ore , coal and agricultural commodity mostly) and by far biggest trading partner. The US doesn't really sell anything to China just import stuff, a change is afoot but only minor so far, a tax put on Australian feed barley exports and US given preferred supplier status by China within 2 days of each other. In other words China has to stop imports from more competitive country to get more US imports in, I am guessing not only Australia. So Trump has achieved something with the trade deal but of course means others lose.
