The best way to fight is the vaccine, QLD and WA are doing fine and we are much more compliant in general plus overall a more cautious approach by our governments so have managed to have no cases so far but can change quickly of course.

@thesepeoplearecriminals1731 What about Israel, the deaths are way down, we know that the vaccines reduce spread by maybe 50% and deaths and hospitalisation by 90% and after about 6 months start to reduce in efficacy. I don't want to pay for unvaccinated people in hospital. So what is it you want to tell me about Israel that actually isn't very highly vaccinated compared to some other countries like Portugal or Denmark.

That's why I watch 7 sometimes because they allow comments and others don't. Not saying allowing comments should be allowed all the time though because sometimes the comments on certain subjects probably cause more harm.

Risking more than that , some may well be charged with criminal damage which is what that vandalism on the office front was.

@Chris-ci5mt The risks you indicate if Astrazeneca are to young ladies, didn't look like a crowd of little girls to me but then again maybe they were. They can book Pfizer if they think they are little girls.

@jeramiegoodwin3426 The thing is antivaxxers are mostly just scared, this group fits into that category. The antivaxxers who are doing it for money and or power in the case of some politicians especially in other countries are the biggest problem because they exacerbate the fears of those who are genuinely scared of the vaccines. It's not logical but any phobia is the same and most people have some phobia or another.

@Chris-ci5mt Chris you mustn't be a historian, until the late 50s we had Leper colonies, antibiotics invented and no more leper colony. Vaccines have always been compulsory under certain circumstances in all but the least developed countries. If a building worker doesn't want to get vaccinated then they can find employment elsewhere, just like if someone doesn't want to drive which is far riskier than the vaccine they can find employment elsewhere. This will end at some point and then the unvaccinated tradespeople can go back to their regular job. They have a privilege actually, many Melbournians can't work with or without a vaccine at this point in time.

@Chris-ci5mt Nobody is being forced to take Pfizer, to the contrary the governments in VIC and NSW would prefer people take AZ to get vaccination rates up more quickly. There's no argument about MRNA, completely irrelevant when an alternate exists.

What a bunch of entitled brats, thousands can't go to work at all and have already been vaccinated but this mob still allowed to work at reduced capacity, it's just they need to get vaccinated like the majority of eligible citizens in Australia already have.
