  1. Things are not as simple as Trump thinks. Trump's actions if followed through will increase the use of RMB. The main reason stated that countries won't use RMB except with direct transactions is because it's a dictatorship that can't be trusted and lower liquidity levels. China uses RMB for 40% of it's international trade. No country to country trade not including China occurs with RMB. The Reserve Bank of Australia has 55% in USD 20% in EUR and 5% in RMB plus a few other countries at 5%. If Trump starts does what he says he will do the level of trust difference between US and China will decrease leading to for example more trades with China using RMB instead of USD. Is Trump going to threaten Australia for using RMB with some of it's direct trade?
