  2. You'll probably see more Mexican goods if the tariffs happen. Some manufacturers will be in both Mexico and US and currently send US made goods because transport is cheaper.

  3. I am pretty sure the threats work in causing other countries and corporations to react. Think about China in particular, I am sure agriculture products purchasing companies are sourcing more products from other countries whenever contracts with US suppliers expire. It's actually fairly easy for China to not buy any US agricultural products, plenty of other suppliers around the world.
