Australian here, Trump just hit us with some tariffs on a little bit of steel and aluminium. Problem is the US has a trade surplus with us. Our trade together isn't that large but it's likely Australia can reduce imports from the US with no pain as we have many free trade agreements with reliable countries. I think Australian's reaction will be similar to Canadians, even if the government does nothing some people will boycott US products as it seems clear is already happening to Tesla, a Chinese impprt.
