  1. They voting for anything Trump was/is going to do. Everyone including MAGA voters knew Trump is erratic. The debt costs are rising rapidly because the bond rate which was around 2% for a lot of years is now around 4%. As each bond expires it needs to be replaced with a new one at a new rate plus of course the ongoing increases in US government debt.
