  1. As an outsider looking in the trajectory of the US isn't changing under Trump and is likely to accelerate. Your trajectory is billionaires getting richer and corporations forming oligopolies that rip you off. The bottom 50% of the US population will continue to get poorer in a relative sense as has been occurring for approximately 50 years. Elon will be recommending lots of privatisation of government functions, this will show an immediate benefit and long term pain when the corporations hike their prices above inflation as has been occurring for years in the various health related oligopolies charging way above market rates especially for pharmaceuticals. The US it would seem needs to reach rock bottom before the trajectory is changed. Many if not most US citizens have brainwashed themselves into thinking oligopolies are free market capitalism which they are not and that regulating them would be socialist. Truth is the US system is socialist to protect oligopolies, it's ridiculous that I can literally go to my local pharmacy in Australia and buy drugs at non subsidised prices cheaper than the US government pays for those same drugs in that closed market.
