  1. Many people saying ban lobbyists are being ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with lobbying and it's an important aspect of any democracy. Having said that banning them from giving money to candidates which in the US can skim money from by setting up a company to provide services to their campaign as Donald Trump openly did should be either banned or at least heavily restricted. While I am not going to claim it's perfect here in Australia we certainly don't have the open moral corruption seen in the US by both major political parties.
