As that outsider looking in , you don't have any fiscal conservatives or many conservative on any issue at all other than far right often religious ones who centre right don't really recognize as conservative. Just giving one example, how is it conservative to pay more in taxes for a public healthcare system than most countries in the world as a proportion of GDP yet the lowest life expectancy for a wealthy country? Why are you literally throwing money at pharmaceutical companies like it's water? Why are fast food chains still operating in some US schools? Most obese large nation on the planet and people are confused why. The pandemic exposed a lot of this, government throwing money at everyone and expecting nothing in return and now who'd have thought it USA again number 1 for deaths that is despite producing a very large proportion of the vaccines for the world and having first access. Don't know whatever came of it but the covid relief funds hundreds of millions went directly overseas. During the outright handout phase for business the most new companies created on record while the economy tanked, I wonder why. Yeah you're right but didn't really answer the question what is a US conservative, I think it's a right wing authoritarian actually (US English for conservative).
