  1. Trump either doesn't know or doesn't care. He's literally offering asylum to poor white South Africans who like the poor blacks live in shanty towns and given their situation would often be petty criminals. The wealthy white South Africans don't want to leave otherwise they would have already because they have the means. If i was a poor white South African i would definitely take the offer up but i might be some sort of petty criminal who will transport my behaviour to the US. To paraphrase Trump I'll be bringing the worst, uneducated , poor and often with mental health issues.
