  1. That blanket statement is unhelpful. While it can be argued the US healthcare system is immoral it has little to do with it being for profit. Also insurance isn't healthcare. Most drugs and medical devices etc. have all been developed by private enterprise and sold for profit, not an issue in the rest of the wealthy countries.
