  2. That's a silly argument. There's no requirement to vote in Australia, only to attend or post in a ballot paper. You aren't required to fill out the voting paper, if voting in person you can literally tear the ballot paper up and bin it in front of officials.

  3. @fionamann1553  Other than if I happen to be overseas I always vote formally, I have never voted informal, no idea why you thought I didn't vote. Pointing out attendance is compulsory but voting isn't. I think it's good to make that point for international people who might think someone actually checks how we fill out the ballot as compulsory voting would require.
