  1. Have to be careful and basically put tariffs on things that won't effect business. So for example can as you say put extra taxes on internet entertainment services and any food imports like cherries for example when it's northern hemisphere season. Shouldn't put tariffs on things like mining or heavy agricultural equipment of which the US produces some of the best products. Trump's tariffs will be ill considered blanket tariffs but the countries retaliating will only put tariffs on goods they can buy elsewhere. Basically Trump's trade war puts the US at a big disadvantage because he doesn't care about US companies especially those that need to import certain goods including manufacturers.
