  1. It was badly handled but going to the "human rights commission" whatever that is because it sounds like a United Nations body not something a state would have is a bit over the top also. A more sensible approach would have been to ask all officers if they want the task due to its high profile nature noting if anything was to occur at all it will be investigated intently. This is not special treatment , more a case of poor judgement. The killers they frequently look after are no different and on some occasions a lot worse I would think. The procedure that caused the death of Floyd was done on 44 occasions in that police department over a 5 year period causing unconsciousness. So it's reasonable to say it was standard practice that the police commissioner was aware of. If such actions which this case appears to be based on for the second degree charge why on 44 occasions were no charges laid at all it would appear?
