It's a good sign. In most other democracies without a powerful autonomous president the leader usually a prime minister is often removed from the top position. Your president is closer to a king than a prime minister even choosing who runs the country being an unelected cabinet who they can personally fire like Trump has done on numerous occasions. The 200 plus year old constitution is out of date.

The other side is just as bad, nobody calling out BLM and rioters associated with them. I am not American but if I was I would certainly consider different voting according to individual candidate and government level. The crazies on the left and right should be got rid of.

@améliehester6996 Here is something for you to ponder. Communism in simple terms is collective ownership of just about everything. Those who say it's in the constitution that they can enter "private property" without the permission of the owner are technically communists who believe that the US Constitution is actually communist.

@schouvler25 I think the point is the extent. Out of 50 million people on either side someone will disagree with everything down to the type of tie a president might wear and is it too dark or too light etc. etc. My observation from afar is this objection to many of Trumps behaviour s within the Republican Party is more wide spread and opposition more organized than the things you mentioned about previous presidents.
