  1. What confuses most about the peaceful protestors is what they actually want. I haven't heard them indicate what law it is they want changed. I haven't in the case of Minneapolis heard a call for either the police commissioner or mayor to resign, these are the ones in charge. I think that the protests could end up lowering the standard of police officers because who wants to be shouted at and considered guilty of misconduct due to the actions of others.

  2.  @nothing2see315  yes agree especially because that age group low risk. They can infect the vulnerable though. Then probably more protests complaining about how their community more affected by the virus.

  3.  Sam Boudreau  you seem like a person that will listen. The problem is in many cases one group outnumber another. So it incorrectly seems to that group that the other group is more racist. For arguments sake there is 70% white 5% East Asian and 15% black people. They are all equally racist at a rate of 10% ( the most racist town in US) out of 100 people there are 7 or 8 racists against blacks but only one or two black racist against white and East Asian. This is the problem. So even though the racism is identical as a black person you will become hypersensitive and over estimate the amount of racists because you encounter it at 5 or 6 times the rate. Another issue is violence and young black males proportionally cause more violence and it's concentrated in certain areas. So those especially young black men not involved which is the vast majority (noting some areas with public housing and basically a segregated black community are truly dangerous) are treated with suspicion. At the moment it's an intractable problem.

  4. You might find it like NY was where a large proportion of officers going out sick leave. But if protests were to continue even peaceful protestors probably won't follow the rules of not coming if at all sick.
