  1.  @uncleraze3427  I don't think so, it lost contact and they believe it has or likely has sunk in water of about 700 metres. They wouldn't deliberately go below the rated depth.

  2. They aren't that stupid of course they adjust for crew numbers but can only estimate and of course can't be highly accurate.

  3. It's got no power most likely and even if it has power some mechanical failure means it can't.

  4. About it being widely reported and well known that's a good thing. Although hopes are slim better to get help from neighbors who likely have some equipment Indonesia not have and more looking means more even if slim chance.
