  1. There is proof in about 50 other countries. But your point is correct because the US is divided and a large number of people won't follow rules so maybe it can't work in the US because of citizen and government behaviour.

  2. It's pretty simple last 2 weeks about 1000 dead per day on average, reduce that number a little on the assumption people will take a little more care , multiply by number of days.

  3. @drew13600 very correct, you can't forecast human behaviour. Human behaviour including political decisions decide the outcome. Not highly predictable.
