  4.  @Hidinginthetreeline  I am Australian and what I see in the US to me is a low level civil war. Both left and right and both major parties unfortunately not condemning all actors without equivocation. The US has a serious rule of law problem. If Biden wins hopefully it will make things calmer but I wouldn't be certain. Harris might help with general reform of how police operate, noting the federal government probably has very little power to do anything other than set guidelines, but if done well it might work.
