@0817sweetstacy he didn't shut down travel, he stopped Chinese citizens entering while literally bringing back infected people with no monitoring or quarantine. Operation go slow with testing was a disaster with only 500 tests by the end of February versus 10,000 in Australia and something like 100,000 in South Korea. So complete failure. He also encouraged people to ignore the virus , gather in large groups packed closely together. It was absolute madness.

After the vaccine because it won't happen earlier than that because the US is divided why not get rid of the virus? It's sort of like the policy is to ensure it never gets eliminated.
