  2. I reckon Christie might be at more risk than Trump due to his weight. Yes too much political correctness going on, obese people should be told outright you have a comorbidity, don't rely on your age as to your true risk and if you can losing weight at this time wouldn't be a bad idea.

  4. I don't really think so it's just a matter of speculation which they shouldn't do because it only confuses people more. It would be better if they said the basic medical stuff and just say The President is in a stable condition and note that hospitalisation normally only occurs after 2 weeks or so and death a significant time after that. It would be unwise to speculate what condition the president will be in after a week because we simply don't know, we only know he is currently in a stable condition with symptoms that would normally not require hospitalisation and this measure is only precautionary at this stage. Because what they have done now is speculated that he will not get very sick and based on probability he won't but if he does everyone will get annoyed.

  5.  @cadwell3061  the problem is if the virus is rampant there is no possible way to stop at risk people getting it. So quarantine is to stop the young infecting those with health problems and elderly.

  8.  @Gena7486  No I am suggesting although I won't be listened to on this forum carry out measures as the West Pacific countries including my country Australia and at least suppress the levels of virus floating around or if you actually want to open up fully other than travel restrictions go for elimination. The Florida Experiment is in progress which is no restrictions other than try to take care of people in nursing homes but no real plans there either. It's the only jurisdiction on the planet to go down this path so we will see how it goes. Florida is going for herd immunity and is a brave jurisdiction in doing so, a world first. It would make more sense in a country with a low life expectancy however let Florida take the lead, I am sure many are watching with interest.
