@douglas_gemini the mask bit is correct but Sweden does have restrictions including a 50 person gathering limit which I believe is still in place. Florida is in it's own league, they even have covid 19 nursing homes where they put all the infected ones I saw it on one of the governor's speeches. I have admit as an Australian I think Sweden has gone down the wrong path , but Florida is just B*t shirt crazy.

Well if you are able bodied and don't mind picking fruit for a couple of weeks then all states in Australia are open to each other excluding NSW , ACT and VIC but the hardline state of Western Australia will still lock up a virus free Queenslander for 2 week even if willing to work. Can travel to Tasmania just for holiday but then 2 weeks quarantine and costs. Better to pick some fruit.

@H_A_L_7 I assume you mean Queensland . I am not highly knowledgeable but I think Bananas will be all year in northern Queensland but expect they will have high and low season. I think apples are about this time of year and have relatively small planting I believe in Stanthorpe area. Citrus season would be finished or maybe small amounts somewhere. Around Bundaberg have a lot of small crops so I think would be largely all year round. Strawberries can't remember when season is and pineapple I don't think relies on backpackers. If really you are interested search about what I have said , probably my info not very accurate.

Be concerned but not alarmed. If the people willing to get tested gets too low in one week 1 can become 100 cases and 3 weeks later same to Victorias dark days. I am in Queensland and same applies here it's important any outbreak is caught early and our contact tracing can work like crazy to yes even though apparently a dirty word now eliminate it until the next outbreak.

I want the Swedes to speak out about Florida. The Swedish now look like a hardline lockdown mob. They won't of course but maybe a reporter could ask what they think of no restrictions at all policy like that of Florida USA.

@thankmelater1254 Did they kill her or something, haven't heard this story yet? If it's in Victoria then so what some girl wants to protest , now you be Premier for 10 seconds, we just ignore everything and give up and 2,500 dead minimum and border shut until vaccine because some special person wants their 1 minute of fame or do we become like the other states in Australia who have put people in jail noting we are just requiring a mask to be worn. Note Dan Andrews tried the first method already of being really nice and asking people and no real penalties a few months ago. If the so called victim you describe is permanently injured or dead ok fair enough that's going too far, that would be American style policing which I hope never reaches our shore.

@7YBzzz4nbyte thanks for that info, couldn't read much in the link but get basic idea. A big problem around the world people are spreading information which is inaccurate or misleading. Another thing that's happening is a sort of standard is being developed with parameters. So social distancing varies from 1.5 metres to 2 metres and 5 feet to 6 feet. Private gatherings from 6 up to 50 depending on cases around. Indoor spaces seem to be standard at 1 person per 4 square metres, don't know about US. For restaurants seems to be keep people in groups. For large events they want spacing or segregation of crowds and contact details for all run by professional starting with 50 person crowds up to about 30,000 or so in a probably virus free jurisdiction. In a way it's looking like different road rules of different countries.

@thankmelater1254 Really?,she said , I am sorry sir/madam I will put it on properly and they tackled her, sounds unlikely to me. I guess I will see this near death experience on youtube at some stage.

@thankmelater1254 well the couple of so called police state incidents I have seen so far were exactly what I described , one princess who posted on Facebook I think how to run a checkpoint and another refusing to give her name or drivers licence with and insulting the officer to get a reaction, so 2 out of 2 they deserved what they got, lucky they in free state Victoria, in Queensland or WA we probably lock them up for a bit.

@thankmelater1254 Thanks for the info and I say good on the Victorian police. If it was videoed by her or a friend the lady also got what she required. So everyone happy.

@thankmelater1254 now I just watched the Video you linked and it clearly shows an assault of a police officer. I hope she doesn't get charged for that but legally she could be because it's actually very clear in the video. I didn't hear any gurgling sounds when she claimed she was being strangled. Although a bit of a distance maybe the arrest could have been made in a better way. Once you physically assault someone however ( the lady not the police who doing hard job) you can no longer claim the high ground.

@thankmelater1254 where are you from? I would love to know, because you haven't indicated anything as far as I am aware. Are you in the free state of Victoria or one of the police states of Australia or the virus rampant non police states of the US or UK? In Minneapolis 44 people were made unconscious in a 5 year period by police and that is a non police state so not sure how your ideas work.
1
@thankmelater1254 I am from Queensland a state where police are a little less trigger happy however they mean business along with the government supporting them and if your offence is considered serious you will go to prison. Where are you from?
1
@thankmelater1254 Charged for what? Annoying an arrestee? Are you kidding. Pretty sure noting we don't know what was said before the video clip but the sargent or whatever would have said look I know she abused you verbally but you have to be more calm and maybe have a week off this is stressing you too much. Like I said it's nothing. I note you still won't say where you are from. Why are you afraid to tell me.
1
@thankmelater1254 you are rather evasive , where are you from? I am curious what sort of a state or country you are from and probably will comment. Because at the moment you are not willing to actually state your position on whether or not containment and freedom for the 99% is good or just the antimaskers should have freedoms and others have constant lockdown to pander to them or just let it rip and thousands die. Where are you from and what is your position?

Captain Reason So now if you live in a virus free area that means racism? Really. Where might you live?
