  1. It will likely explode, check the US in 2 weeks to see if thanksgiving has caused a spike noting higher restrictions in many states at the same time. If the US goes up despite higher restrictions think about what would have happened if restrictions reduced at that holiday time.

  2. It won't be unless you are in the military. However not being vaccinated might restrict what you can do and almost certainly international travel. Have to wait and see, with significant restrictions the number of people needed to be vaccinated to eliminate the virus will be much lower.

  4. Herd immunity is a relative term which depends on restrictions and behaviour as you suggest. Even with no restrictions whatsoever certain cultures that hug and kiss each other a lot and don't distance at all or live in cramped conditions need a much higher number of infected people for herd immunity than countries with lots of 2 person households where people aren't touchy feely.
