It definitely could get worse but there is no evidence of any of the leadership acting like Trump, Bolsonaro and Modi, this makes a big difference, people are taking the matter seriously in all of SE Asia, even if not perfect no blatent encouragement for large gatherings or it's over declaration.

  5. One thing looking at graphs without realizing the numbers behind it can be misleading. The current new cases in the UK are the same as Thailand, in other words that what looks like over in the UK graph is the peak in the Thai graph. UK and Thailand have almost identical population. If you were to overlay those graphs the Thai graph would just be a straight line along the bottom, you wouldn't even see the spike.
