I think you mean discuss with, they are both doing a similar style of thing. John is more for the lay person in general I feel. Dr Mobeen tends to have some very complicated lectures I guess you would probably call them which are quite technical and people without knowledge like myself find confusing. In general I think they would both be in agreement on most things. But would be interesting to see if they don't agree on some things. I think these people are helpful for anyone who wants to know more without politics thrown in.

Must be the cleaning chemicals, have to change saying from as mad as a hatter to as mad as a window cleaner. Yes hat makers did go mad from chemicals previously, not a conspiracy theory.

John , I know it's confusing but Hispanic is an ethnic group, eg coming from a Spanish speaking country, they can be white, black and indigenous American (American Indian) and any mix of the above.

Australia and New Zealand got all the information pretty much from CDC and WHO initially along with information out of European countries on an individual basis because until recently we didn't have enough cases to know anything. Yes ironic that the CDC is actually good at providing information but useless at implementation because of internal issues and the states just ignore the advice. The fact it took them and Fauci a month to realise that detection and contact tracing was a complete failure set things in motion and the US has to this day never got on top of cases with the response always deficient to what is required at the time. The US has tested far more than Australia for example, and I think Trump possibly believed Australia must have more cases than it does and it's about testing.

The US system as practiced is the same to Australia. In practice the states are running their own responses, however if the Federal governments in either case wanted to literally take over they could, but the only healthcare workers the Federal government has is military personnel and very limited infrastructure for this purpose. The federal government can impose quarantine zones and rules but again their only enforcement mechanism is the military because the numbers of federal police is very limited to one agency in Australia and a few different agencies in the US. States run healthcare and have enough enforcement capabilities and either can be topped up with the military if required , as has occurred in both Australia and US. The decisions by the US states of open borders and no travel restrictions means the virus can never be contained, only mitigated against. In Australia currently the problems are pretty much all contained in Victoria. A US state can put in travel restrictions for quarantine purposes if they want, they have just chosen not to do so or in an extremely limited manner.
