@IamJohnCullen We already have worldwide data about the numbers of deaths if a country does lockdown lite and open borders, PAHO Pan-American Health Organization and European WHO region fit into this category and deaths have been an average of 0.2% of entire population. In the Western Pacific region of WHO we have deaths around 0.02% of total population (excluding China which would make the number lower) on average with border quarantine and other restrictions. So look at the results , of course if nothing is done then it's much bigger problem.

@IamJohnCullen So you're suggesting the entire Western Pacific region of WHO got together all 28 countries from Mongolia to New Zealand geographically plus some protectorates and territories and decided that we wanted Malaysia, The Philippines and Fiji to look bad and the rest of us look good. It had nothing to do with border controls and hard lockdowns for the purpose of eradication? This would be the most amazing collusion in the history of mankind, do you really believe China and Australia would lie on behalf of each other, China has said indirectly that Australia is the enemy? Do you really think Australia would lie about China's success considering we called for the WHO investigation into the origins of SARS covi2 and China at the level of government hasn't had a single interaction with Australia since that time. Now let's assume you are correct how on earth would our entire WHO region hide everything from the rest of the world? How could Australian, New Zealand, South Korea and Japan in particular stop the entire medical community and media from telling the truth? Just think about it for a few minutes and consider same actions and similar results within the 3 WHO regions I mentioned.

In Australia it has become quite sophisticated, the standard test just gives a positive case and then every case goes for genomic testing, they can actually tell whether or not transmission is direct or a few cases removed even within a variant because it would seem very small mutations happen all the time.

Once the information is out there's nothing they can do about it. If they can find out who leaked it which is probably unlikely that person might get the sack, however sacking them might bring more attention so that's not a given.
