@mooselodge3881 think of the original commenter. We don't know everything but we know they are not young and if lung capacity is 46% the chance they die if they get this will be a high percentage. If they don't live in self contained accommodation and can't afford to move they are literally a sitting duck. The border restrictions of the state for quarantine purposes are a matter for the government and it's the choice that the commenter us complaining about. There is no wall with Canada either but I am guessing illegal travel across that border is pretty low. Have some compassion for those who might not have the means to do as you suggest.

Take very good care, if you live in detached accommodation as in a stand alone house with a yard that's good. If you don't you are at higher risk. If you have any relative that can help you get them to deliver groceries to you. Don't meet them but wait 2 minutes to collect the groceries from the drop off point 2 minutes is the time people must wait to collect food outside of hotel quarantine room so risk of anyone breathing in virus in the air is reduced. Obviously if outdoors much lower risk but an extra minute of waiting won't hurt considering being isolated all the time. Best of luck and take care the best you can. Most important is avoiding high risk areas the most or completely if you can.

@mooselodge3881 it's not my state or even country but if you look at New Hampshire and based on total deaths and not currently active cases which should be ignored with an open border and compare it to countries of the world it would be the 21 st worst country for number of deaths per capita. So not the worst but certainly not safe for a vulnerable person.
