I think you are right because the Oxford Astrazeneca trials were done better because they tested people to see if they got the virus , not just wait for people to ask to be tested. Not sure if they tested everyone but better than the other method.

@salfordladsclub4966 I am Australian so we not in a rush however if we were I would far prefer the Oxford Astrazeneca vaccine over the Pfizer and Moderna ones that make my own cells grow virus proteins. Maybe it's all ok but it's just my personal concern and when rollout occurs in Australia I will go for the Oxford Astrazeneca one because will probably need to be vaccinated for international travel.

@Bob Lawblawblaw not a bot likely an American Trump follower because the language is the same and takes no responsibility for their own country's response. The US cover up by Trump is worse than the Wuhan government because one is a local authority which got sacked which is probably good, Trump however is all powerful under the US presidential system , as is the president of China but national Chinese government acted and the US executive government run by a single man didn't. The executives in the US government , secretaries or called ministers in other countries are non elected officials chosen by the dear leader including family members in Trump's case.

The current case rate per million in the US is probably about the same as the UK or if you adjust for the lag. The number of tests have a significant lag so I am guessing so does the case rate.

Hillary What are you talking about, everyone new the virus was outside China in multiple countries on January 21 so they can't hide that. Most rich countries carried out evacuation flights towards the end of January and in February , are you seriously suggesting China should have detained US , UK and Australian citizens which would have made no difference at all because it was already out. If you are from the US you should hang your head in shame because you were not willing as a country to do anything other than watch it spread to every state and territory to the point of killing rural populations like in South Dakota. Wake up to yourself, your country failed. I am Australian and it's unfortunate China is behaving like Trump on trade issues. In part it is probably to do with what you say however the US set the standard and on barley when China imposed ridiculous tariffs the US promptly made a deal with China to be the preferred supplier as stated on a US gov website. On trade the US under Trump is certainly not a friend of Australia. China did lock down all provinces in March some time from memory to get rid of the virus which had spread throughout China meanwhile after a 2 week pretend lockdown in the US the president is saying Liberate ( has a connotation of armed conflict) pretty much every Democrat run state. The transparency from China is not ideal it's as bad as the US with Trump taped in early February by Bob Woodward knowing the threat yet he told the public the opposite and whoever else was involved didn't speak out also.
