  1. If that's the case distilled water wouldn't stop the problem but reduce it because the fungus can still get it's growing material from dust in the air, distilled water might reduce the nutrients for the fungus a little bit.

  3. The most common penicillin moulds which are green usually are largely harmless, before you see it , it is growing on bread for example and Brie and Camembert cheese you are eating penicillin mouldy milk essentially.
