  1. You need to make an adjustment for the welfare payments. In Australia they have been very generous so only business people have suffered. Many low income people or people already on welfare have more money if they are out of work. The question in Australia's case is what happens in 3 or 4 months when the extra welfare payments cut out, that is when problems are more likely to occur.

  2. It's likely to be mandatory to enter a country. In other words voluntary, if you don't want it don't come. For citizens voluntary however if you go to another country they will probably want it. Mandatory for certain jobs especially military because the government owns your arse.

  4. As John said he didn't know the details and Cuomo said actually 7 states were doing the same thing , one would presume for the same reason or they do it collaboratively. I agree in the US situation it's probably a good idea.

  5.  Alexander Van Burk  In Victoria to anywhere else in Victoria. Not entirely sure but I think the general standard for other states to let Victorians in without quarantine will be when they reach 28 days of no cases.

  6. I would take everything with a grain of salt, often data is not up to date and the other thing I think it was one of those states shipping sick people to other states , reality kicks in when it gets that bad which can change behaviour, or self imposed lockdown.
