Fluorescent lights give off some UV light but no idea how much effect it might have because would be far lower than sunlight for example. The old incandescents can produce some heat but I don't think any UV . LED lights produce no UV and very little heat so probably the same as being in the dark as far as the virus is concerned.

They think it was a possibility but pretty sure they never found out anything other than it was a strain present in Victoria Australia and UK and a person who tested positive did work in a warehouse with frozen food imported from Victoria. So tests were done on the site but they didn't find anything that would suggest it was spread by the frozen food.

As John said it could be a very minor factor. As there is only likely to be 50 to 100 undetected cases in Victoria and New South Wales and 100,000 undetected cases inside the UK it's fair to say the risk is higher in the UK compared to our only infectious states regardless of the weather.

You don't even have hotel quarantine at the UK border and never have had, just some voluntary scheme that nobody checks with relaxed rules that can spread the virus anyway. The fine is less than the cost of mandatory hotel Quarantine in most countries that do it and has probably never been imposed.

PCR false positives are extremely rare, look at test results in Countries or jurisdictions with high testing regimes and 0.1% positivity rates. So they can't occur even 0.1% of the time unless there is some serious failure in carrying out the test , not the viability of the test itself.

Banknotes would actually be fairly high risk because they don't see much UV light and stay humid in men's pockets at least, the temperature would reduce the half life survival though. This could also be good news for Australian and New Zealand chilled foods because very low risk compared to our competitors for certain chilled but not frozen meat or seafood. Any outbreak costs governments millions of dollars to contain so reducing all risks can be worth it.

At a Trump rally it probably does lol.

@icilmaa as another commenter said it just means however they do it only picks up 7% of cases, there are probably various reasons for this like only testing those who say they have symptoms and using less accurate rapid tests as well as people being infected during the trip itself which no test will pick up until a few days later. The statement that only 7% get identified says whatever they are doing is a complete waste of time. At minimum should be all receive PCR test which clearly isn't occurring. The UK and US are competing for who is the least competent rich country along with Spain and France possibly.

@OceanFrontVilla3 weather has an indirect impact moreso than any direct impact on the virus survival inside mostly climate controlled buildings.

I would think probably not because the virus would die more quickly than your immunity goes.
