Here in Australia it was made very clear in the beginning we wouldn't be able to contain it and we prepared with at least 2 field hospitals built and plans for a temporary morgue and field hospital in Sydney. But when we found actually we could contain it and that became the policy. In my state of Queensland with 5,000,000 we have had around 300 cases of transmission inside our state. Border restrictions from other states put in place fairly early on and we did build one of the field hospitals. My observation at the time of the US is why aren't all the US states without any problems preparing to deal with the cases considering in NY there are refrigerated trucks outside the hospitals. Did they think it wouldn't affect them? What were governor's of other states thinking?

@daverok1113 whatever you want it to be mate. Just count the body bags if it makes you happier so New York trucks for bodies, Taiwan no apparent need for trucks at hospitals. So whatever the test is detecting it clearly kills many people.
