Well someone has to pay for the war crime of ethnic cleansing and colonisation in the West Bank and the seige and war in Gaza and your duly elected politicians both Democrat and Republican literally take some of that money through AIPAC and need to keep the cycle going. Until the US citizens demand a multiparty system instead of a duopoly this status quo will remain. To have a multiparty system you need to have rank choice or preferential or automatic run off voting system so occasionally independents and minor parties can win seats in the house of representatives and senate. Further changes should probably be made however that would be a good start, it works very well in Australia. On a lighter note eventually Israel will have to pay for itself because US government debt is becoming unsustainable and the US won't be capable of sending so much aid for no benefit or humanitarian reason.
