How about the I think French speaking lady calling herself a refugee, as far as I know France or anywhere in Western Europe aren't oppressing the Jewish population. The eternal victim I suppose.
126
Yeah sounds like a great idea, an international occupation force, i am sure the Palestinians would be completely happy with that idea.
52
USA you've got some competition to keep your no.1 position for police brutality in a "liberal democracy "
33
Finally the US being called out by the UN, about damn time.
30
I smoke rolled cigarettes, so please people don't think we are all like that.
23
I hate the date it apparently happened, that's my birthday. I believe gaza can and will recover.
14
This is propaganda, while it's true they probably destroyed some tunnels, the idea that there were 1500 tunnels doesn't pass the credibility test.
7
He didn't seem to recognise the Palestinian hostages, that's rather unfortunate.
7
This lady had such composure, i love her total concentration on her message.
7
Even the volunteer hasbara trolls are giving up.
6
Well your in 100% agreement with all the pro Palestinian protesters then. We want to leave them alone economic, cultural, arms , travel sanctions is we want. That would be leaving Israel alone which you apparently support.
6
The M67 grenade used by the US army has 180gm of high explosive and a kill radius of around 5m. The GBU 39 has 16kg of high explosive , this is not a small explosive if you are protected by a tent , it's only small when compared to the massive bombs Israel has been using to collapse buildings.
5
I would respond to that actions speak louder than words. One shipment of one type of weapon means nothing.
5
Fair enough can you say Isreal should release the 1,000s of hostages held in Isreali prisons often being tortured?
5
This gentleman is as cool as hell. He represents the good of humanity which unfortunately isn't as good as it could be.
4
Her words are right. It's continuing to happen, your suggestion is that it's past tence and therefore is no longer occurring.
4
I don't believe Hamas propaganda about the extent of the tunnels in the first place but even if they were extensive they need electricity for lighting and ventilation to be of any use for a large number of people. They don't have electricity so it's impossible.
4
Then it would be the UN -5. None of the 5 permanent security council members are likely to give it up without a fight.
4
Israel will never agree to a ceasefire, they are literally occupying the west bank and have no intention of ending that illegal occupation.
3
An encampment doesn't hinder other students, so I am glad you agree that the protesters actions don't violate anything.
3
Isreal is a legitimate nation whether it should have become one or not, we can't turn the clock back. The issue is the continuous oppression of it's subjects. If it's subjects were given freedom in a 1 state democracy or freedom including freedom of movement in a 2 state solution it would all end. It might take time however the solution is literally that simple. Think of all the ex colonies in the world and some current colonies, we don't have these extreme problems because those that have been colonised are largely treated with equality within the framework of that country.

The 1st amendment does not apply on some elses private property. So i wish they would stop bringing it up when talking about universities. The question is an internal policy one for each individual university of what restrictions should in place. Nobody is literally arguing that free speech as accepted by the first amendment should accepted. Otherwise you could have clan rallies as an example or for that matter Zionist rallies calling for the expulsion of all Palestinians from the occupied territories.
2
This guy is nuts. Of course Hamas won't release the hostages without a permanent ceasefire, aid restoration and hostage exchange noting all the extra hostages taken in the West Bank and Gaza and i am only referring to outright hostages in administrative detention or detention after tortue obtained confessions which are completely unreliable not those who might have thrown a stone or something at an IOF members direction and got years of imprisonment. Another point is as food, water and medical treatment systems have been destroyed the remaining hostages that haven't been killed by IOF or died of other causes are in danger just like every citizen of Gaza. They are also in danger of being bombed or shot while the offensive continues.
2
They say when a politician opens his/her mouth they are lying but is on a whole nother level. He makes politicians in general seem rather honest.
2
Can is probably a bad choice of word, of course he can the question is will he and the answer is probably not.
2
17kg is a lot bigger than you think and that's the explosive charge only not the weight of the bomb. Interesting you say 4 bombs.
2
So basically the law is now being interpreted that it only applies to individual units. So Israel can commit as many war crimes as it wants, worst case scenario they might have to disband a unit and Phoenix it.
2
We know based on what Israel has said they trust the Hamas numbers. Otherwise it would be impossible for them to claim 14,000 terrorists killed or basically every man killed was Hamas.
1
Most of that was great rhetoric, problem is I don't believe a word of it. The US president can at any time cut of arms resupply and tell Isreal what they need to do, Biden won't do that.
1
It takes years, they need to connect the dots in a legal sense between the military leadership and the soldiers carrying out the war crimes/ plausible genocide. Without such evidence which is actually very difficult to obtain Israel can just say the soldiers went rogue and disobeyed orders.
1
I disagree, using pro Palestine is completely fine and people understand what it means.
1
A fair few hasbara comments, very nice to see because it means the truth is threatening to them.
1
@hanna319 a refugee by definition is forced to leave their country, this hasn't happened to this lady. Are we supposed to now change the definition of refugee just for Zionists? If I was internally displaced because my country wants to keep fighting it's neighbours I would complain about my country even though I get to stay in a hotel using US taxpayer's money.
1
Well i guess he has had an idf approved haircut. Does he look sexy or what?
1
@roystonmason9125 I was in the Australian military a while ago, I know what a military approved haircut looks like. It looks like your mates haircut.
1
@DeLeon-gx3em time certainly but money very little, it's just like an hamas rocket costs a few hundred USD and the interception missile costs an estimated $100,000 USD.
1
Great another plausible genocide supporter.
1
Yet to actually here of a physical attack against a Jewish person for being Jewish other than of course Jewish voices for peace members etc. who quite possibly are being targeted by the police and government authorities.
1
I don't think anyone would have any gas left by now, they using scrap wood from rubble to cook. I don't believe the Israeli's anyway unless they release the video footage.
1
What a dishonest scumbag. While i am no fan of the Iranian government or Hamas it's incorrect to say either them don't want a two state solution. A genuine 2 state solution with 1967 borders has never been on the table.
1
So you don't believe the ridiculous story of the IDF who actually claims responsibility? The ridiculous part isn't that they bombed this area but something about a weapons dump.
1
@dogzdigital I did find something that the IDF put out, based on the size of the people in the infra-red image the 2 explosions shown seemed reasonable as in a blast radius of high heat about 10 metres or so in diameter. A grenade with only 180gm of explosive has a kill radius of about 5 metres. As far as the tent fires 170m away from the target nothing is making sense because Netanyahu apologised for it and called it a mistake, how can it be a mistake if it was some random event. I believe 10% of what the IDF/Israeli government says and only 50% of information provided by other sources. The truth is the first casualty of a war. I am just guessing but seems there might have been multiple or at least 2 different locations of air strikes. I think we will need to wait and see on this one however the next atrocity will have probably occurred by then and it might not make the news cycle.
1
@dogzdigital what key words should I search to possibly find that footage, I am curious to see what you have seen.
1
@aimeesolomon8757 look online look at youtube and pick one of the 10s of sources available. Just search administrative detention Israel. These are people imprisoned without any charges by the idf , their numbers have exploded since October 7 and I am only talking about Palestinians in the West Bank. These are hostages, no hamas in the West Bank.

He is the highest ranking Republican representative in the US. Truth is Republican politicians won't say anything because more of their base than Democrats base support Israel no matter what.
