  1. Full lockdown containment and elimination is best if a country can achieve it, however for most places and densely populated slums it's impossible to get there now most likely because the populations will just riot.

  2. Of course it didn't, Sweden versus UK are just 2 different lockdown lite models. Lockdown proper with travel restrictions and quarantine is the West Pacific. Most countries other than Philippines and Indonesia due to lack of capability to stop the spread are as open or more open than Sweden other than the travel restrictions.
