As far as the claim of not having thousands of cases of Omicron in South Africa he is misleading, they do have 1,000s of cases but not 1,000s that have been sequenced, South Africa believes they have 1,000s of cases so stating there are 1,000s of cases [based on the data] is in no way a lie.
