@sandychenault5246 It's not happening all over the world, it's happening in a few wealthy Western countries only for various reasons. Everywhere will slowly over time reduce mandates according to each jurisdictions priorities. The protests achieve nothing and many are rent a crowd literally but once that money cut off or runs out or doesn't eventuate most just go home and back to work I guess. The $9 million from GoFundMe for the Canadian rent a crowd didn't eventuate which probably assisted in getting rid of a significant number of rent a crowd trucker protestors in Canada.

@sandychenault5246 What are you talking about, Fox commentators were up in arms about the rent a crowd funding being cut off. The info from Fox is no different to MSNBC or CNN, it's only the editorial that differs. With Fox it's also a 180° turnaround from editorial regarding CHAZ (Capital Hill Autonomous Zone) in Seattle Washington in 2020 yet the behavior of both groups pretty much identical.

Trudeau isn't an all powerful king or something, he's just a PM in a federation. He can't lift any provincial mandates and he can't tell the US what restrictions or requirements for entry into the US. The fringe as you call them seem to want a dictator that's all powerful.

They're just trying to keep roads open and eventually get the protestors out Ottawa. Not a single rubber bullet fired or a single canister of irritant sent into protestors, no riot shields or batons. Exactly what is it you are seeing that I'm not seeing, if this was the US in almost everywhere all those points I made would be null and void. This slow methodical soft touch approach (soft touch as in no violence but hefty fines if required) has worked.
