  3.  mike a  look at some broad measures and compare let's say Mississippi ( sorry if you from there and no offense to anyone there) with Thailand. A middle income country I would describe it as, basic wage about $20 per day. Look at life expectancy, why is Mississippi behind a country like Thailand. Literacy rate behind, homicide rate higher. But you would be correct if you say Mississippi is much more democratic and much more free speech. There are about 10 states in the US not so different. So my claim exaggerated in a sense but not entirely incorrect.

  4. Good to see an advocate of voting and exercising your right. Not enough Americans vote and then complain about the government and suggest other ways to get an outcome.

  6.  Chris Sardelis  freedom of speech and democracy go hand in hand . Thailand the military takes over quite often in recent history, there is democracy in the US, but I am not there , but do see it might not be highly functional and when mobs start shutting down reasonable free speech I suppose that's as bad as the government doing it and some governments mostly local are supporting such actions.
