  1. I disagree with Americans are the angriest people in a wealthy country in the world. They have become tribal and somewhat superstitious about the opposite tribe. Both sides in US politics on non social issues are actually far closer together than Americans realise because very few Americans have knowledge outside of the US. The US is developing into a socialist country that helps billionaires and picks industries. Some refer to that as fascism which I suppose it is. There are successful countries that lean to the right, free market economy countries like Australia and New Zealand and there are countries that lean to the left not very open economies with lots of subsidies for agriculture as an example like Northern Europe and Japan. I am Australian and think the free market is the way to go but can understand those other countries preferring something different. But one thing we all have in common is a generally better welfare safety net and better healthcare than the US does for a not well off person.
