  1. Actually they're pretty good. The problem is some brands in China and Tesla Cybertruck are rushing them out too quickly with too many faults. BYD claims that they now have the technology to recharge a vehicle in 5 minutes, making it pretty much the same as filling up a gasoline vehicle.

  2. @Stephen-cr3sc  I agree that they aren't saving emissions in any meaningful way at the moment and the cybertruck is probably far worse than a basic hybrid car. However they are advancing quickly and V2G (vehicle to Grid) technology will likely become a reality within a few years, once that happens it's a game changer because renewables like solar and wind can charge the vehicle when electricity coming in and the vehicle power the grid when renewable not producing electricity. It's probably a few more years after the v2g becomes a reality until a power grid can run like that which will probably be the hard part.
