Unfortunately no country that hasn't eliminated the virus has been able to stop the UK variant, it's far more transmissible and makes up the majority of cases in Europe , US and Japan now and probably Delhi based on very limited genomic testing. India also has the variant discovered in India which might be as bad. Considering the UK itself is still having 45,000 cases per day currently adjusted to India's population and over 50% of the population has had at least one dose of the vaccine it is unfortunately fair to say the chance of India gaining any sort of control over the virus at this point in time looks slim. I feel for you and am in a good situation in my country that has eliminated it so hard to really understand how it must feel to you. Stay strong and do the best you can and best of luck.
