  1. They are not contradictory, the UK has given first dose of vaccine to far more and this is accelerating the rate for the most at risk group. India on the other hand needs as many getting first dose as possible but shouldn't have opened up to the younger age group this quickly in my opinion, because the older at risk aren't all vaccinated with at least one dose.

  2.  @sridharsami209  I know and think that was madness. It's hard to say but I hope things improve, the current measures would have probably worked on previous variants but the new variants spread much easier.
