@yeshiyangzom8532 what a stupid question, everybody's ancestors 200 years ago were either brutal oppressors or victims. It's now 2021. I don't have records of my ancestors so how the hell would I know anyway and do you want to go back 2000 years how long? My brother did a DNA test that approximates heritage and came up with small amounts of Norway and Sweden and mostly English and Scottish. Although no strong evidence either way my longest Australia ancestor was about 210 years ago but it only told which ship she was on, maybe she was a convict being oppressed by the English who knows. The point is this is not how modern countries should behave. Will have racists in every country, maybe that lady was one of many or one of few. Do you consider Uyghurs equal to you?

@yeshiyangzom8532 you haven't answered my question

She was because not scripted at all, the CPC doesn't want the message that the Han are blatant racists getting out.

宇宙無邊大法神教銀河系賞善罰惡不死不滅護教聖使一字並肩王驃騎文武大將軍 According to Chinese media there have been no terrorist attacks since 2016 in Xinjiang. That's not frequent if hasn't happened for at least 3 years at time of recording.

How come, listen to a KKK leader talking 50 years ago and you probably couldn't spot the difference.

Depends on the country. Yes some are as bad.

@bnkk2001 I wasn't really thinking of it exactly as you write originally, however they just want to be treated fairly. If they treated fairly they will put up with the colonizers. In countries where freedom of religion and equal treatment exists for the most part people don't bother asking to turn the clock back 100 or 150 years prior. Like majority of Muslims in Southern Thailand give up on fighting the colonizers and accept they are Thai and they can keep their religion. They had some problems just like China and China has decided to go a different path, of course if you are forced into re education camps just for being Muslim you won't be happy. So feel free to interview people in Southern Thailand, I doubt the authorities would stop you and they certainly wouldn't have secret police following around everywhere.

In wealthy liberal democracies there is no strong evidence it will reoccur. If those country become poor I guess it's a possibility. If you go back 200 years ago this video without of course the modern technology could be anywhere in the world.
